Rogue Beat(working title)
A downloadable game
Hello Everyone!
This is a prototype for a project being created under Black Engine Games! (PC only currently)
Our goal for this game is to create an engaging 2D top down retro bullet hell with rogue like elements for progression! We'd like to create many more interesting enemies, boss fights, and challenging room types built within a procedural set of levels to offer players challenge. As with rogue likes, death merely presents the player the option to spend their hard earned points on better and more benefits.
We would appreciate for anyone to try our game to get a feel and to also provide helpful feedback via our questionnaire below!

cool game. the "main menu" wasn't that epic, but the game was. only took 9 minutes to beat though.
That's awesome to hear! We do apologize for the main menu; for this first build we definitely spent more focus on getting the core gameplay mechanics setup. 9 minutes sounds about right what we hope to aim for with a myriad of procedural levels with more bosses and enemies!
We promise the next build to come will have more enemy types, more bosses, more room types, more levels to show off the intended progression, and of course, a more impressive main menu!
